We are currently looking for a talented Lead Software Engineer to join our EMEA Engineering team and help us continue to innovate in this space.
What is this role?
This is a full-time, remote position based in France. We are looking for someone with at least 48 months of lead-level experience to take ownership of complex technical challenges. You will work standard CET or CEST hours while collaborating asynchronously with our distributed teams in the EMEA and US regions.
What will you do?
- Design and build new full-stack features using React and TypeScript on the frontend, alongside Java, Node.js, or Ruby on the backend.
- Integrate AI coding assistants and agents into your daily workflow to automate repetitive tasks and accelerate the delivery of high-quality features.
- Take charge of architectural decisions and manage the deployment and monitoring of your work using GitLab, AWS, and Kubernetes.
What makes you a great fit?
You should have at least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading projects and mentoring others. We value your ability to work autonomously in a remote setting and your professional proficiency in English. Key requirements include:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one backend language like Java, Ruby, or Node.js.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks, ideally React.
- A history of designing scalable, reliable systems and performing rigorous code reviews.
- Practical experience using AI tools for code generation, scripting, or building internal tooling.
