Senior Frontend Engineer at Zeal by Puzzl Group Inc.

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Series A fintech company backed by prominent investors like Y Combinator and Spark Capital, we provide the infrastructure that powers payroll for large-scale gig economy platforms and HR solutions. Our mission is to modernize the payroll stack, ensuring accurate and timely payments for hundreds of thousands of workers across the country. In this hybrid role, you will report directly to our CTO and take ownership of the end-to-end design and implementation of our customer-facing products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain white-labeled UI components that allow our customers to integrate our payroll features seamlessly into their own applications.
• Collaborate closely with our Product Managers and designers to improve our Admin dashboards, focusing on creating clean and intuitive user experiences.
• Contribute to the full stack by assisting with REST API implementation, updating database schemas, and working within our NodeJS, Express, and MongoDB environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally within a startup environment.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and building scalable UI components.
• Experience working alongside product designers and utilizing design systems.
• A solid understanding of backend technologies including NodeJS, Express, MongoDB, and AWS.
• A proven track record of writing high-quality code with robust testing frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous setting.
