The opportunity
We are seeking a Community Manager to join our team and become a key voice for Chainlink across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role is perfect for a passionate storyteller and community builder who thrives on connecting with people. You will be responsible for nurturing our community through a mix of digital engagement and in-person events, ensuring that our users feel supported, informed, and excited about the future of smart contracts. You will play a vital role in shaping how our brand is perceived and experienced by thousands of developers and enthusiasts in the region.
A day in the life
- You will cultivate and manage our presence across various social and community channels, including Telegram, WhatsApp, Twitter, and YouTube, to keep our audience engaged.
- You will plan and execute regional events, meetups, and conference appearances to bring the community together in person and foster real-world connections.
- You will develop and curate localized content, ranging from social media posts to blog articles, while monitoring engagement metrics to refine our community strategy.
Who you are
You are a mid-level professional with at least three years of experience and a deep-seated passion for the blockchain space. You possess a unique blend of creativity and analytical thinking, allowing you to not only spot the latest internet trends and memes but also measure the impact of your outreach efforts. To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to listen to and advocate for community members.
- A self-starting, resourceful mindset that allows you to thrive in a remote environment.
- Fluency in English and Arabic to effectively communicate with our diverse EMEA audience.
- A strong understanding of internet culture and active experience on major social media platforms.
