About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building the backend infrastructure that powers our technology products. You will work closely with a talented software development team to implement web applications, manage complex databases, and ensure our systems remain secure and performant.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable microservices and APIs to support our core technology products.
- Optimize our platform for maximum speed and performance while troubleshooting and resolving system issues to ensure high reliability.
- Collaborate across teams, including product owners, QA, and DevOps, to define technical requirements, testing protocols, and infrastructure needs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in software engineering and a passion for building robust systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three years of professional experience in software development.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, or Next.js.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database management systems.
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
Location
This position is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is 52,000 to 67,000 USD. In addition to your salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health and long-term success:
