Site Reliability Engineer at Synthesis Health

Synthesis Health is a mission-driven organization dedicated to revolutionizing the healthcare industry through collaborative innovation. We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our fully remote team and help bridge the gap between development, operations, security, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated deployment processes while managing environments from development through production.
• Establish and measure Service Level Objectives and Agreements to ensure high system reliability.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.
• Oversee containerization strategies to improve deployment speed and resource efficiency.
• Implement robust security measures, compliance standards, and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate across teams to improve software delivery speed and maintain detailed internal documentation.
• Continuously evaluate platforms to identify performance gaps and automate repetitive manual tasks.

Must-haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of experience in software development within a DevOps capacity.
• At least two years of experience in an SRE role supporting platforms at scale.
• Professional background as a Python developer with at least one year of experience transitioning into site reliability engineering.
• Proficiency in automation, scripting, and cloud infrastructure management.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice-to-haves

• Practical experience working with YAML configurations.
• Hands-on experience using Argo for deployment workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to high-quality customer service.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is 125,000 USD to 175,000 USD.
