What is this role?
We are looking for a Cyber Defense Engineer to join our Cyber Defense Operations team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a mid-level position requiring approximately 24 months of relevant experience. You will serve as a front-line defender, protecting our enterprise infrastructure and the integrity of the products our customers rely on every day.
What will you do?
- Monitor and investigate security alerts across SIEM, EDR, and CSPM platforms while leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis.
- Lead or participate in incident response efforts, including forensic analysis, root cause determination, and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Design and tune detection rules mapped to the MITRE ATT&CK framework to close coverage gaps and reduce false positives.

You are a proactive problem solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. To be successful, you should bring the following:
- At least 4 years of experience in a SOC, security operations, or incident response role.
- Strong knowledge of attack frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, along with experience using SIEM and EDR platforms.
- A solid understanding of cloud environments and network protocols.
- Experience using AI-driven tools and LLM-based assistants as part of your daily security workflow.
- Excellent written communication skills to document findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluency in English.
