At Voltus, we operate as the premier virtual power plant operator and distributed energy resource technology platform. We connect energy resources to electricity markets to make power more sustainable, reliable, and affordable. Our partners and commercial customers earn revenue by letting us maximize the value of their energy storage, flexible loads, and electric vehicle resources. We are currently looking for a Director of Product Marketing to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will help shape our product roadmap and ensure we maintain strong product-market fit by bringing essential customer insights into our decision-making process. You will begin as an individual contributor, with the future opportunity to build and lead your own team as our marketing function expands.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of our product-market fit by embedding yourself within the product organization to represent the voice of the customer.
- Develop core product positioning and messaging while building a repeatable playbook to lead major feature launches from start to finish.
- Collaborate closely with our sales department to provide effective enablement materials and translate complex technical details into compelling, clear stories for a non-expert audience.
Requirements
- You have a strong background in B2B marketing, with specific experience in the energy sector being highly preferred.
- You have a proven track record of creating successful product positioning, managing launch strategies, and driving sales enablement.
- You are comfortable using AI tools to accelerate your productivity and are prepared to operate as an individual contributor who can eventually scale and lead a team.
- You possess the ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad, non-technical buyer base and are comfortable working across US time zones with occasional travel for conferences and meetings.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
