What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our machine learning strategy. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable MLOps solutions that allow us to deliver high-quality clinical insights at scale.
What will you do?
- Design and deploy robust MLOps tooling that covers the entire data science lifecycle, including model training, monitoring, deployment, and inference.
- Oversee the transition of new AI and machine learning models into production environments using modern, cutting-edge technologies.
- Mentor members of our technology team to help them grow their expertise in machine learning practices and specialized tooling.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in both engineering and data science. We value candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in an applied machine learning or data science role within the healthcare or technology sectors.
- Extensive experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-level machine learning systems, ideally using AWS services.
- Expertise in Python, including libraries like NumPy and Pandas, as well as strong proficiency in SQL.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Intermediate knowledge of DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines specifically for machine learning systems.
