About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Credentialing Coordinator to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will serve as a vital support system for our Credentialing Specialists and management team. You will be responsible for ensuring the daily operations of our department run smoothly and efficiently, helping us maintain the high standards required to support our providers and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary liaison between our specialists, health plans, and medical centers to ensure all provider files are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage and maintain provider profiles on platforms such as CAQH and Availity while assisting with follow-ups regarding licensing and payer enrollments.
- Develop deep expertise in our practice management software and credentialing tools to optimize workflows and support departmental projects.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in medical administration and a commitment to operational excellence. We require the following qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one year of direct experience in credentialing.
- A minimum of one year of experience working specifically with Availity and CAQH platforms.
- At least three years of experience working in a medical practice business office.
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills, along with a high level of attention to detail.
Location
This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to our mission from your home office.
