The role
We are hiring a Senior UI Designer to work full time in a fully remote capacity. You will partner closely with our Lead Designer and cross-functional teammates to shape intuitive, delightful interfaces for NovelAI.
Core responsibilities
- Translate product goals and user needs into clear, high-fidelity mockups inside Figma.
- Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure designs are implemented accurately and on time.
- Gather and interpret user feedback, then iterate quickly while preserving quality and personality in every interface.
Skills and experience
- Hands-on experience designing AI-powered products, ideally beyond simple ChatGPT wrappers.
- Proficiency with Figma and a portfolio that shows thoughtful, non-linear exploration rather than rigid slide decks.
- Strong intuition for what users want, paired with the ability to balance rapid iteration and attention to detail.
- Comfort working in English with teammates and community members across time zones.
- Passion for writing, image generation, or both, and an open-minded approach that welcomes feedback and new directions.
Compensation and benefits
