Staff Designer at Cleric

We are Cleric, and we are building an autonomous AI agent that identifies and fixes production incidents. When a system fails in the middle of the night, our tool steps in to diagnose the issue and provide engineers with clear answers. We are already live in production at high-scale companies, and now we need a visionary designer to help us define the future of human-AI interaction.

Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Staff Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, and you can work from anywhere in the world. You will be responsible for shaping our entire design output, from our core product interfaces to our brand and marketing presence.

Your impact

• You will define and evolve our visual identity, which includes establishing our illustration styles, typography, and comprehensive design systems.
• You will lead the design of product interfaces, focusing specifically on how users interact with and trust autonomous AI systems.
• You will create technical diagrams and marketing assets that clearly explain complex, abstract systems to a highly technical audience.

What you'll need

We are looking for someone who speaks English fluently and brings a deep understanding of design to our team. You should have at least 5 years of experience in visual and product design, specifically with a portfolio that showcases work in the B2B SaaS or developer tools space. You must be proficient in Figma and have a proven track record of building and maintaining design systems. We value candidates who are curious about how engineers think, are plugged into the developer tools ecosystem, and are eager to explore how AI is shifting user expectations for interface design.
