The Role

The Senior Director of Marketing is responsible for driving profitable growth by maximizing the business potential of Mezzetta’s current portfolio and partnering to launch innovation growth plans into the market. You will create a dynamic marketing discipline to authentically connect with consumers, create relevancy across the Mezzetta portfolio, and bring our brands to life across all meaningful aspects of the marketing mix and purchase journey. In addition, this role will help substantiate Mezzetta’s role as category leader within respective segments by bringing insight-driven, on-trend news to both consumers and customers. This role reports to Jeff Mezzetta, CEO.

What You’ll Do:

  • Execute the Founder’s Creative Vision – Translate our CEO’s vision into high-impact marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, consumer love, and sales growth.
  • Build a High-Functioning Marketing Department – Establish the structure, processes, and talent needed to create an efficient, creative, and results-driven marketing team.
  • Own Brand Activations & Storytelling – Ensure our brand’s identity is consistently and compellingly communicated across all content, packaging, digital, and in-store touchpoints.
  • Lead Marketing Execution Across Channels – Oversee all brand, digital, trade, and retail marketing efforts to amplify our presence in grocery stores, DTC, and beyond.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Retail Partners – Ensure marketing efforts drive sell-through and strengthen our presence in key accounts.
  • Drive Content & Community Engagement – Build and nurture a passionate consumer community through social media, influencer partnerships, experiential marketing, and grassroots efforts.
  • Optimize for Growth – Use data-driven insights to refine and enhance marketing performance while staying true to our brand DNA.

What You Bring:

  • 7-15+ years of marketing experience, ideally in CPG, food & beverage, or challenger brands
  • A proven track record of executing bold, consumer-driven marketing strategies
  • Experience managing omnichannel marketing (digital, retail, influencer, PR, trade marketing, etc.)
  • Strong leadership experience—able to build and scale a marketing team while staying hands-on
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to optimize campaigns while maintaining brand authenticity
  • Expertise in brand storytelling, content creation, and packaging design
  • Excitement for working with a founder-led brand and bringing a creative vision to life

$240,000$265,000 USD
