Harmonic is the startup discovery engine, and we are on a mission to map the entire startup landscape. By building sophisticated tools and indexes, we help the world’s most prolific venture capital firms identify and fund the next generation of industry-defining companies. We are currently looking for a Product Design Lead to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will help us build the elegant, intuitive interfaces that enable investors to pinpoint promising founders and navigate complex market data with ease.
Responsibilities
- Lead our design vision by establishing a consistent design language that spans from our marketing collateral to our core in-product experiences, while mentoring other designers on the team.
- Influence the product roadmap by collaborating closely with our product and engineering teams to solve complex user problems and deliver high-quality, seamless features.
- Deepen customer insights by building direct relationships with our users and design partners to gather feedback that informs our design decisions and addresses critical pain points.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in product design, specifically within environments that require tight collaboration with engineering and product management.
- A minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity, with a proven ability to guide teams and articulate a clear design vision.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to ship impactful products, simplify complex interactions, and integrate user context into technical development.
- A first-principles approach to problem-solving and a high level of comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
What we offer
