About the role
The Marketing Creative Manager will lead the creative production of high-impact marketing assets across Lovepop’s entire ecosystem. Acting as the crucial link between marketing strategy and creative execution you will work in close collaboration with the Director of Product Marketing, who will define the Awesome Bar for creative. As a team you will bring Lovepop's unique brand magic to life through compelling visual storytelling, accelerating customer retention and conversion rates.
As Marketing Creative Manager, your mission is to fully own delivery of creative marketing assets for all of Lovepop’s sales channels and scale the Marketing Creative team’s capabilities (rendering, graphic, photography, video, 3D animation). You will direct and mentor a team of talented Vietnam-based designers to deliver marketing materials based on objectives from  Marketing, Merchandising, Design, Retail, and Operations. You'll drive brand consistency, ensure operational efficiency, and ultimately help us create more magical moments for our customers. 

Accountabilities

  • Creative direction:  Inspire and coach your team of designers to create compelling, effective, and brand-building marketing creative.  
  • Provide Creative Direction: Inspire and guide our talented team of designers to take our marketing creative efforts to the next level - providing clear, constructive feedback to ensure all creative output authentically reflects Lovepop's unique “art x engineering" brand identity and delivery of magical moments.
  • Output metrics: 
    Reduction in creative assets revision cycles through clear, constructive and actionable directions to move projects forward.
    Single time review rate by cross-function partners for marketing creative assets by Q1-2026.
  • Lead Creative Production: Own the end-to-end creative production workflow for digital marketing assets (social media ads/posts, email visuals, website banners, digital ad creative, short-form video), from initial brief received through feedback rounds to final, polished delivery, adapting processes for the Marketing Creative team structure.
  • Output metrics: Consistent on-time delivery of high quality, on-time and on-budget execution of creative marketing initiatives.
  • Champion Brand Standards: Act as a dedicated brand guardian for all marketing creative, ensuring visual and tonal consistency with Lovepop's guidelines, values, and product aesthetics across every touchpoint.  Develop creative marketing assets that build the Lovepop brand.
  • Drive Performance Through Creativity: Partner with channel managers and analytics partners to understand creative performance data. Use these insights to inform creative iterations and future strategies aimed at boosting engagement and conversion (ROAS, CPA, CTR).
  • Outcome expected: Marketing results dashboard assembled and integrated into the marketing creative process
    Process management:  Architect an effective and efficient process for our creative pipeline and an organized and effective approach to our asset database.
  • Drive Process excellence: Work in partnership with the Director of Product Marketing to Implement and manage streamlined asset creation processes across the US and Vietnam organizations. Drive consistent improvement over time. Ensure Lovepop digital assets system is effectively executed and organized.
  • Collaborate Strategically: Work closely with Marketing and Merchandising to deeply understand campaign goals, channel requirements, and target audiences. Translating these needs into compelling visual content, ensuring brand cohesion and project goals are met.
  • Output metrics: 
    Reduced time-to-market for new campaigns and consistent positive feedback on creative quality
    Consistently meet go-to-market timelines and product launch plans
    A+ team:  Lead an A+ Marketing Creative team by recruiting talented people, accurately assessing talent, making quick executive decisions, and providing the team strategic direction, mentorship, and accountability.
  • Plan and Leverage Resources: plan team capacity and manage resources for all creative marketing projects and hit or exceed all timelines. Plan and scope for training and scaling of rendering, 3D animation, photography, video capabilities to support all marketing initiatives.
  • Outcomes expected: 
    Effective resource utilization with proper processes and systems implemented for estimating the Marketing Creative team’s capacity and balancing individual designer workloads. The Marketing Creative team’s capabilities, capacity, and performance are assessed and tracked by EOY.
  • Build New Capabilities: Recruit, develop and scale product packaging design capabilities within the Marketing Creative team. Contribute to building a culture of excitement and accountability within the Vietnam Design team. 
  • Outcomes expected: 
    Packaging design capability developed and leveraged and incorporated with product development by EOY.
    The Marketing Creative team has the skills, tools, and capacity to take on all required work from internal stakeholders. 


    Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in creative marketing, creative services, creative production management, or marketing asset management, ideally within a fast-paced e-commerce, DTC, or consumer goods brand. Proven experience managing the end-to-end production of high-volume digital and physical marketing assets (social, email, web, ads, packaging, rendered images, video) is essential. Demonstrated experience leading or providing direction to creative teams, external agencies, and freelancers.
  • Creative Direction & Judgment: A strong creative eye, a deep understanding of visual storytelling for diverse marketing channels, and the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Creative Tools & Digital Landscape Acumen: Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with creative tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and rendering/3D animation software. Solid understanding of key digital marketing channels (especially paid social, email, web), their specific creative requirements, and performance metrics. Awareness of current AI capabilities  and the ability to leverage AI for scaling creative development. Understanding of print production processes and packaging design is a plus.
  • Project Management Prowess: Exceptional organizational skills are a must. You possess the ability to expertly manage multiple complex projects, competing deadlines, and diverse stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead through influence, foster a collaborative environment (especially with remote/international teams), and build highly effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to embrace creativity and innovation to continuously evolve and improve our creative marketing capabilities and deliverables, while rooted by Lovepop’s brand strategy and longterm goals.
  • Communication Clarity: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of defining and crafting crystal-clear creative briefs and presenting creative concepts effectively.
  • Adaptability: You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, comfortable navigating ambiguity and pivoting strategies based on performance data or shifting priorities.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your leadership in the development and production of high-quality, high-performing marketing creative (digital and potentially physical assets), ideally for e-commerce or consumer brands, is required for consideration.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
