The role
We are looking for a Director of Web Strategy to join our growing Go-to-Market team. This is a full-time, remote leadership position where you will report directly to the Senior Director of Growth and Demand Generation. In this role, you will act as the product manager for our web properties, including octo.ai, our documentation, and various microsites. You will lead a talented team of developers and designers to capture demand, improve user experience, and drive revenue growth through our digital presence.
Core responsibilities
- Devise and execute comprehensive web strategies that align with our business objectives, while managing budgets, timelines, and resourcing plans.
- Drive non-paid traffic and optimize conversion rates by leveraging data-driven insights, SEO best practices, and innovative user journeys.
- Communicate strategy and performance metrics clearly to executive leadership, product teams, and your own direct reports to ensure company-wide alignment.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a blend of strategic planning, technical insight, and leadership ability. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a leadership role focused on web strategy and digital marketing.
- Strong proficiency in website analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- A track record of driving traffic and optimizing conversion rates in a product or sales-led environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex strategies to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Expertise in SEO, user experience, and the application of AI tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Fluency in English.
