The role
We are hiring a Director of Customer Marketing to lead our customer-facing marketing efforts on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This director-level position reports to the Vice President of Product Marketing and will shape how we turn a thriving global user community into lasting advocates while accelerating adoption and expansion.
Core responsibilities
- Build and own the end-to-end customer marketing strategy, guiding programs that improve onboarding, retention, advocacy, and expansion.
- Launch and scale customer advocacy initiatives that produce case studies, references, and community programs aligned with our product and solution narratives.
- Turn customer and market insights into actionable recommendations that influence product roadmaps, growth plans, and overall satisfaction.
Skills and experience
- At least five years of direct customer marketing experience, with a proven record of building world-class advocacy programs.
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills demonstrated through work with Customer Success, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to launch new capabilities and drive expansion.
- Technical sensibility and genuine interest in AI, along with the ability to experiment with new tools and translate insights for both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to articulate a clear vision that resonates with sales and marketing teams and inspires customers to adopt new solutions.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to define new processes during the early stages of the AI era.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation and benefits
For work locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Los Angeles, the base salary range for this role is $248,000-$351,200 USD. In addition to salary, we offer equity compensation, professional development opportunities, and medical insurance as part of a comprehensive total rewards package.
