The Role

As the Design Video Creator at Envato, you will create in-house videos tailored to our design audience. As an expert in design, you will work closely with the Tuts+ editorial team to research, plan, and script new videos. You will also be responsible for creating the videos, including presenting on camera and recording video and audio with support from the video team.

What you’ll be doing:

Bringing your expertise in design and the creative industry to keep our content fresh and relevant.

Collaborating with the Video Manager and editorial team to create a variety of YouTube content, including tutorials, inspirational videos, and educational courses.

Researching, planning, and scripting new videos that resonate with our audience of designers.

Presenting on camera with energy and enthusiasm.

Creating videos with skill and confidence.

Developing in-depth design courses, from beginner to advanced levels in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.

Engaging and teaching beginners, breaking down complex design topics in an accessible and compelling way.

About you:

Deep understanding of design with formal education and a varied portfolio

Proficient in digital design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma)

Energetic, personable, and enthusiastic on camera

Excellent communication skills to clearly convey ideas

Experienced in video production, creating high-quality videos and screencasts for YouTube

Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail

Organized, adaptable, and able to manage time effectively

Self-motivated, with high initiative and independence

Passionate about Envato's mission and values

The compensation package offered may vary depending on employment experience, skills, and knowledge. You may also be eligible for our generous benefits package including health, wellness and financial benefits. Compensation ranges for candidates will differ based on the cost of labor, geographic market, and additional factors.

The pay range for this position is below:

$80,000 - $107,000 USD per year

Note: Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission). Non-commission roles are expressed as base salary only but may also be eligible for annual incentives.

The referenced salary range is based on the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
