Creator Partnerships Lead at Descript

The role

We are seeking a Creator Partnerships Lead to join us on a full-time basis. This is a lead-level position that focuses on driving revenue growth and product adoption through strategic influencer and affiliate marketing programs. You will work in a hybrid capacity, with the ability to be based in the SF Bay Area or work remotely from Los Angeles, CA.

Core responsibilities

• Build and nurture high-impact relationships with content creators, influencers, and industry partners within the audio and video space to expand our reach and revenue.
• Develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies that align with our broader business goals and drive meaningful product adoption.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with our marketing, product, and data teams to design branded campaigns, events, and initiatives that showcase the value of our platform.

Skills and experience

• At least 5 years of professional experience in partnerships, business development, or influencer marketing, ideally within the B2B SaaS sector.
• A deep understanding of the modern content creation landscape, including platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and various podcasting networks.
• Proven ability to think strategically and translate complex ideas into clear, actionable plans through strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in data analysis to track the success of initiatives and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining intellectual curiosity and honesty.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this position is $162,000 to $200,000 USD. Final offers are determined based on an individual's specific expertise, experience, and location. In addition to competitive pay, we provide:
