The role
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis within the United States. In this role, you will lead regional business development efforts specifically focused on our land planning, landscape architecture, and civil engineering design services. You will be a key player in shaping our growth strategy while collaborating with our design leaders to expand our footprint in the industry.
Core responsibilities
- Coordinate closely with design leadership to identify, research, and cultivate new business opportunities that align with our strategic goals.
- Drive lead generation through active networking, cold calling, and consistent participation in industry events to build a robust pipeline.
- Manage the full lifecycle of business development programs, including tracking leads in our CRM, leading weekly strategy meetings, and overseeing the preparation of high-impact proposals.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this position, you should bring a strong background in business development and a passion for the built environment. We require the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in business development, with a minimum of 5 years specifically within the AEC industry.
- Proven ability to execute lead generation campaigns and manage complex projects from inception to completion.
- Technical proficiency with CRM software and the MS Office suite.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills, paired with an analytical mindset to evaluate the impact of marketing initiatives.
