Brand Designer at StarkNet

The Starknet Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the growth of Starknet, which is a cutting-edge layer 2 blockchain network built on Ethereum. Our primary mission is to improve the scalability and efficiency of the Ethereum ecosystem, making decentralized applications more effective and accessible for everyone. What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Brand Designer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary position where you will help define our visual identity and establish an efficient design function. As our second design hire, you will act as a trusted partner to our Head of Design and serve as a key individual contributor, working from anywhere in the world.

What will you do?

• Partner with our Head of Design to build our internal design function and shape the foundational brand voice and visual identity of Starknet.
• Take ownership of production design across various mediums, including branding systems, marketing materials, and web design, while ensuring everything adheres to our standards of quality and consistency.
• Provide artistic direction, mentorship, and constructive feedback to contractors and external partners to ensure our creative output remains innovative and aligned with our goals.

What makes you a great fit?

You should have at least 8 years of experience in design or art direction, ideally within technical or product-driven organizations. We are looking for someone who is deeply interested in the web3 space and can take complex, technical concepts and translate them into simple, beautiful visual stories. You should be highly proficient in Figma and the Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Experience with motion design, WordPress, or Webflow is considered a significant advantage. You are a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, distributed environments and possesses the organizational skills to manage multiple projects at once.
