The opportunity
This is a senior-level contract role that offers you the flexibility of working remotely from anywhere. Your primary mission will be to bridge the gap between complex AI research and our audience of practitioners. By leveraging your deep technical background in foundation model training, you will help us craft high-quality content that informs and inspires the machine learning community. You will play a vital role in shaping our editorial direction and ensuring our technical content remains at the cutting edge of the industry.
A day in the life
- You will collaborate closely with our marketing team to develop comprehensive articles, feature stories, and technical deep dives focused on the nuances of foundation models.
- You will take complex research papers and translate them into clear, engaging, and accessible narratives that resonate with our readers.
- You will keep a pulse on the latest industry trends and breakthroughs to help us plan our editorial calendar and report on the most important developments in the field.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a strong academic and practical background in the AI space. To be successful in this role, you should bring the following qualifications:
- An advanced degree, such as a PhD or Masters, in machine learning, AI research, or a related technical field.
- Significant professional experience as an AI researcher, ML engineer, or team lead, specifically with hands-on work involving foundation models.
- Exceptional writing abilities that allow you to communicate technical concepts with clarity. Having a portfolio of previously published technical articles is a major plus.
- A self-driven approach to work, combined with the ability to communicate consistently with our team and meet project deadlines.
