Key outcomes
- Design and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports company growth targets and aligns with overall business objectives.
- Refine brand positioning and messaging so that it clearly differentiates Marker Learning and resonates with special education leaders, school psychologists, private practitioners, and district decision-makers.
- Establish Marker as a recognized thought leader through a content program that educates prospects and guides them through each stage of the buyer’s journey.
- Generate qualified demand and leads via an omni-channel approach that blends field marketing, Account-Based Marketing, and demand-generation tactics.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team that values creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Plan and execute webinars, conferences, and trade shows that produce leads, strengthen relationships, and raise brand visibility within the special education sector.
- Collaborate with the product team on positioning, messaging, and successful launches of new offerings.
- Develop a marketing analytics framework that tracks performance, engagement, and conversion at both the individual and district levels, ensuring every initiative is tied to measurable ROI.
Requirements
- Extensive marketing experience within enterprise SaaS or comparable business models.
- At least five years in a leadership or managerial role, combined with a willingness to contribute hands-on work when needed.
- Proven success developing and executing marketing strategies that have delivered measurable business growth, greater brand awareness, and stronger customer engagement.
- Demonstrated expertise in Account-Based Marketing, events marketing, content marketing, and demand generation.
- Strong analytical skills with a consistent focus on ROI and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to translate complex ideas for non-technical audiences.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can shift quickly.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in ed-tech or mental health fields.
- Experience fostering a culture of testing, measurement, and innovation within marketing teams.
