As a member of our close-knit team, you will collaborate directly with our founders to shape the future of the Fitbod experience, ultimately helping hundreds of thousands of users lead healthier lives. We are currently seeking a VP of Marketing to join us in a full-time, remote capacity to lead our marketing efforts and drive our next phase of growth.
Key outcomes
- Lead and mentor a cross-disciplinary team covering paid user acquisition, lifecycle and email marketing, content, social media, and brand creative.
- Identify and evaluate new marketing channels to diversify our acquisition strategy and decrease our dependence on paid advertising.
- Scale our paid user acquisition programs while optimizing conversion funnels to maximize return on investment.
- Leverage our unique fitness data to conduct research on exercise science, translating those insights into engaging content.
- Create and execute a strategic roadmap for growth, testing, and iteration over the next 18 months.
- Refine our brand positioning to ensure we remain a leader in the health and fitness industry across all customer segments.
- Develop and implement initiatives focused on long-term customer retention and lifecycle management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in strategic leadership, including the ability to set a clear vision and guide multidisciplinary teams to success.
- A strong background in scaling user acquisition at a consumer-focused company, with expertise in managing a diverse portfolio of channels.
- Deep understanding of subscription business models, consumer behavior, and the optimization of user retention.
- A quantitative mindset with the ability to perform rigorous data analysis and A/B testing to drive marketing performance.
- Strong product intuition and the ability to identify features that enhance the value proposition for our users.
- Excellent ideation skills and the ability to evaluate creative solutions to complex growth challenges.
- Fluency in English.
