The role
We are seeking a VP of Marketing to join our executive team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a high-impact leadership position for a strategic, data-driven professional who can scale our brand and drive revenue growth. You will be responsible for balancing performance-based acquisition with brand storytelling and customer engagement. We are looking for someone with over 10 years of experience in growth-stage direct-to-consumer, home services, or consumer tech sectors who is ready to lead our marketing organization through its next phase of expansion.
Core responsibilities
- Own our comprehensive customer acquisition strategy across paid media, organic search, referral programs, and email channels while optimizing marketing spend for maximum efficiency.
- Lead our lifecycle marketing efforts by creating nurture flows that guide customers from initial interest to project completion, while partnering with product and sales teams to improve retention.
- Direct our product marketing, brand partnerships, and community engagement initiatives to ensure our value proposition is clearly articulated and amplified across all customer segments.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- More than 10 years of marketing leadership experience within the direct-to-consumer or consumer tech space.
- A proven track record of scaling marketing budgets while maintaining or improving key efficiency metrics like CAC, LTV, and ROAS.
- Deep expertise in performance marketing, lifecycle strategies, and brand building.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform executive decision-making.
- Exceptional storytelling abilities combined with a customer-first mindset.
- A history of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English and a genuine passion for the benefits of outdoor living.
