Visual AI Artist / Photographer – Generative Image AI at benuta GmbH

Since 2008 our independently run company has delighted millions of customers across 17 countries with distinctive rugs and home accessories, and we are now looking for a talented visual storyteller to help shape the next chapter of our brand imagery.

What is this role?

This is a full-time, senior-level position for a Visual AI Artist / Photographer – Generative Image AI. The role is based on-site at our studio in Bonn, Germany, and focuses on blending traditional photography with the latest generative AI tools to create striking interior and lifestyle visuals for our products.

What will you do?

• Produce compelling interior and product visuals by guiding generative AI tools such as Nano Banana Pro, Midjourney and Stable Diffusion, while also planning and executing studio or on-location photoshoots that you then refine with AI techniques like background extension and generative fill.
• Develop creative concepts and moodboards for seasonal campaigns and social media, using AI from the first sketch through to the final composite and ensuring every image meets our brand standards.
• Stay ahead of emerging AI trends, evaluate new tools and workflows, integrate promising solutions into our content pipeline, and share your knowledge by training colleagues on effective AI practices.

What makes you a great fit?

We are looking for someone who holds a degree or comparable training in photography, media design or a related field and brings several years of professional experience as a photographer, creative director or content creator, ideally within advertising, interior or fashion imagery. You combine deep expertise in generative image AI and prompt engineering with confident command of ChatGPT, Nano Banana Pro, Sora, Adobe Firefly and the full Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop. An intuitive sense for composition, lighting and styling-whether working in-camera or in 3D/CGI environments-helps you deliver polished, on-brand results. You thrive on innovation, enjoy learning new techniques and value open communication as a collaborative team member who prefers working together in our Bonn studio while still appreciating occasional flexibility.
