Vice President of Marketing at Coconut Software

We are looking for a strategic and driven Vice President of Marketing to join our team at Coconut Software on a full-time, remote basis. Reporting directly to our CRO, you will lead our efforts to scale our presence in the North American market. We specialize in appointment scheduling, queue management, and video banking solutions that help major financial institutions like RBC and Vancity connect effortlessly with their customers. With nearly 40 million raised and consistent year-over-year revenue growth, we are looking for a leader who can help us reach new heights while fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives and aggressive growth goals.
• Design and manage account-based marketing campaigns and content initiatives to build a robust sales pipeline and reduce lost opportunities.
• Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team while using data-driven insights and SaaS metrics to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in marketing leadership, preferably within a SaaS environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree considered a strong asset.
• Demonstrated expertise in account-based marketing, content creation, and managing external communications or media relations.
• A strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable growth strategies.
• Previous experience working with financial institutions, such as credit unions or banks, is highly preferred.
• Proven success in leveraging client insights to refine buyer journey mapping and persona development.
