Vice President of Marketing at Wishpond

Wishpond Technologies is currently seeking a talented Vice President of Marketing to join our leadership team. Founded in 2009 and publicly traded on the TSX Venture Exchange, we provide a robust suite of digital marketing solutions, including landing pages, social promotions, and lead tracking, to over 3,000 customers ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. As a member of our team, you will oversee marketing strategies for our entire brand portfolio, which includes Wishpond, PersistIQ, Brax, Viral Loops, and Essential Studio Manager. This is a fully remote role available to candidates located anywhere in Canada.

Key outcomes

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing initiatives that align with our business goals across performance marketing, social media, events, and product marketing.
• Establish clear revenue targets and utilize data analytics to drive growth, measure effectiveness, and foster a culture of structured experimentation.
• Maintain consistent brand messaging and quality control across all customer communications.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with partners, suppliers, and customers.
• Manage marketing budgets effectively to optimize expenses and channel performance.
• Lead, mentor, and recruit a high-performing team while cultivating a positive company culture.
• Provide strategic guidance to support the ongoing growth and success of our organization.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of executive experience, ideally within a SaaS company or a marketing agency.
• Strong leadership, recruitment, and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex global projects.
• Technical proficiency and an analytical mindset, with a proven ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Deep expertise in marketing research, audience targeting, and current industry best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write effectively and interact professionally.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• A self-motivated, detail-oriented approach with a client-first mentality.
• Ability to work standard business hours on EST or PST.
• Reliable access to a personal workstation, computer, headset, and high-speed internet.

Preferred qualifications

• A degree or diploma relevant to the position.
• Proficiency in a second language.
