Venture Builder at Founders Factory

At Founders Factory, we partner with visionary entrepreneurs and global industry leaders to build and fund high-impact startups. Since our inception in 2015, we have supported over 300 portfolio companies, which have collectively secured 900 million dollars in follow-on funding from top-tier investors. Our organization was established by founders who have successfully navigated IPOs, and we provide our ventures with essential capital, hands-on operational expertise, and strategic access to our corporate partner network. We are currently seeking a Senior Venture Builder to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in Germany for an initial six-month contract, with the possibility of extending this into a long-term role.

Key outcomes

• Lead the end-to-end design process to launch early MVPs that effectively translate business visions into compelling customer experiences.
• Apply a human-centric approach to business development, ensuring a balance between user needs and core business objectives.
• Define clear visions for each venture while ensuring our organizational values are consistently communicated and embodied.
• Navigate studio stage gates and provide founders with the support necessary to secure positive investment committee decisions.
• Maintain a focus on continuous learning, asking insightful questions, and proactively seeking feedback.
• Identify new market opportunities by maintaining a deep interest in the evolving business landscape.

Requirements

• Fluency in German is mandatory for this position.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean methodologies to drive momentum and manage time effectively.
• Versatility to handle tasks across design, technology, product, and growth, including the ability to manage external or freelance talent when necessary.
• Proficiency in creating no-code and low-code solutions to accelerate product delivery.
• A technical mindset with the ability to build functional prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate ideas quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative and resourceful approach to navigating complex challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate progress and learnings to the wider team.
• A commitment to validating assumptions and delivering tangible value across all ventures.
• Experience in establishing productive working relationships with founders to ensure clear communication throughout the build phase.
