Venture Builder (Digital Product Designer - Contract) at Founders Factory

The role

We are seeking a Senior Venture Builder with a focus on Digital Product Design to join us on a contract basis. This is a hybrid role based in Germany, starting in June for an initial six-month period with the potential for a longer-term engagement. You will act much like a co-founder, working directly with entrepreneurs to develop concepts and build products that resonate with users while embodying our core values.

Core responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end design process, from launching an early MVP to defining the long-term customer experience and business vision.
• Apply a human-focused approach to building technology businesses, ensuring a balance between user needs and business requirements.
• Drive momentum and clarity within each venture, ensuring the team stays aligned with our studio stage gates and is well-prepared for investment committee decisions.

Skills and experience

• You must be fluent in German and English.
• You have a strong background in design, customer experience, and leadership.
• You are proficient in lean methodologies and capable of using no-code or low-code tools to build functional prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
• You possess a technical mindset and are comfortable wearing multiple hats, including product, growth, and design, to move projects forward.
• You are a proactive communicator who is solution-focused, resourceful, and capable of validating assumptions in an ambiguous environment.
