PackageX is transforming the logistics sector by building the world's first API First Logistics Cloud. We are a fast-growing Pre-Series A startup, backed by prominent investors like Bullpen Capital and Sierra Ventures, with a mission to become the digital backbone of the global supply chain. We are currently looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team in Pakistan on a full-time, on-site basis to help us craft intuitive and highly functional experiences for our web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Transform complex concepts into clear user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Conduct thorough user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and uncover user pain points.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure design solutions are both user-friendly and technically feasible.
- Design high-fidelity mockups and user journeys optimized for various devices and interfaces.
- Identify design challenges and implement elegant, strategic solutions that align with our business goals.
- Advocate for the user at every stage of the design process, ensuring accessibility and ease of use.
- Maintain brand consistency while staying current with emerging design trends and technologies.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a UI/UX design role.
- A strong online portfolio that highlights your expertise in mobile and web design, including layout, typography, color theory, and ADA compliance.
- Deep understanding of design thinking methodology and the distinction between UX and UI design.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts to stakeholders and provide clear documentation to developers.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
