ScaleMath is a profitable, bootstrapped company operating as a fully distributed team of creative marketers and strategists. Since 2017, we have focused on helping the world's leading organizations drive customer acquisition and improve user experience. We are currently seeking a talented Technical Content Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will work closely with our Operations Team and Head of Content to produce high-quality material for our partners. We pride ourselves on maintaining a calm work environment where we prioritize quality and work-life balance, ensuring our team members can produce their best work without exceeding a 40-hour work week.
Key outcomes
- Develop, edit, and manage a diverse range of content, including blog posts, white papers, case studies, newsletters, and video scripts.
- Oversee the master content calendar to ensure the timely creation and delivery of all projects throughout the year.
- Implement SEO best practices, including proper formatting and the creation of meta descriptions for all drafts.
- Construct compelling narratives that connect reader needs to client solutions, effectively driving business goals and promotions.
- Provide strategic feedback and actionable suggestions to improve overall client outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively as a team member, maintaining clear communication and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Requirements
- Exceptional fluency in written English.
- Proven experience in long-form content creation, such as guides and technical articles.
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO and content distribution channels like social media and email.
- Ability to write in detail about technical topics, including WordPress, Docker, PHP, and Laravel.
- Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a self-motivated approach to project management.
- Experience working effectively within a remote team environment without the need for micromanagement.
- A reliable internet connection and a collaborative, resourceful attitude toward problem-solving.
Preferred qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or a related field.
Compensation
We offer a supportive work environment that includes flexible working hours, with a preference for candidates who can provide five to six hours of overlap with the UK time zone. Additionally, team members receive 20 days of paid time off per year.
