We are looking for a strategic Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Australia, where you will help us implement and optimize enterprise AI tools to streamline our operations and drive meaningful business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and roadmap high-impact AI use cases that align with our business model and strategic goals.
- Lead our AI implementation strategy, ensuring data readiness, compliance, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with our commercial, engineering, and data teams to integrate tools like Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio into our core processes.
- Balance technical feasibility with commercial value to build compelling business cases for AI investment.
- Oversee the execution of automation projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Perform ongoing quality assurance on AI models to maintain performance, reliability, and ethical standards.
- Facilitate workshops to prioritize AI initiatives and foster a culture of data literacy and curiosity across the organization.
- Evaluate the performance of implemented tools and identify opportunities for continuous optimization.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role within a commercial or financial services setting.
- Proven success in leading or supporting AI and automation projects that delivered measurable value.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, including SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with the ability to evaluate use cases alongside technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across both technical and non-technical departments.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and responsible AI principles.
- Strong commercial acumen and a self-starting attitude toward operational improvement.
