We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team and help us share the SAIT experience with prospective students.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Student Marketing Assistant to join our team on a hybrid basis. This role is designed for current students who have completed at least one semester of study and are in good academic standing, though recent graduates from within the last year are also welcome to apply. You will act as a brand ambassador, working closely with our recruitment team to support our outreach efforts across Calgary and the surrounding areas.
What will you do?
- Represent SAIT as a brand ambassador by leading campus tours and presenting at high schools, info sessions, and career fairs.
- Manage the logistics for recruitment events, including scheduling venues, coordinating catering, and preparing promotional materials.
- Provide guidance to prospective students and their families regarding program offerings, admission requirements, and the registration process.

You are a high-energy communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You possess strong organizational skills and are comfortable presenting to large groups. To succeed in this role, you should have a solid grasp of the following:
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience or familiarity with Google Analytics and email marketing tools like Mailchimp.
- Understanding of virtual event platforms and software.
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation, as some travel is required.
- The physical ability to lift up to 25 kg.
Previous experience with Freshdesk is considered a valuable asset. We are looking for someone who is self-directed, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
