Structural Designer at Ernest

We are currently looking for a Structural Designer to join us for this full-time, on-site role.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with our sales representatives to determine the best design solutions, drafting those concepts using ArtiosCAD.
• Manage multiple projects at once, ensuring you meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality production specifications from your prototypes.
• Operate our CAD tables to create physical samples and maintain a safe, organized workspace in line with company policies.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have 5 to 7 years of experience in package design, specifically with retail POP displays, industrial packaging, and folding cartons. We are looking for someone who can conceptualize designs from start to finish and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment. Your technical toolkit should include:

• Advanced proficiency in ArtiosCAD, including parametric designs, 3D features, and DataCenter Admin.
• Experience operating and maintaining CAD tables, such as Kongsberg or Data Tech equipment.
• Knowledge of Cape palletization software and strength analysis.
• Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively work with both customers and our internal sales team.
• A background that includes a college education in drafting, CAD, or computers, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluency in English.
