Since 2021, we have helped over 10 million people across the United States save more than $2 billion on their prescriptions. Beyond our work with over 60,000 pharmacies, we are deeply committed to giving back, having donated over $10 million to organizations like Make-A-Wish, the ASPCA, and various food banks. We are looking for a talented Staff Writer to join our editorial team and help us create educational content that empowers our users to better understand their health and wellness. If you are passionate about clear communication and healthcare accessibility, we would love to have you on board.
What you'll be doing
- Produce one to two high-quality, engaging blog posts every day that cover topics ranging from pharmaceutical treatments to general wellness and medical conditions.
- Conduct rigorous research using credible sources like the CDC and NIH to ensure every piece of content is accurate, current, and easy for our readers to understand.
- Apply SEO best practices to your writing, including keyword implementation and meta-tag optimization, to help our content reach more people who need it.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should be a strong communicator with a knack for turning complex medical information into accessible, consumer-friendly content. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Professional writing experience, ideally with a portfolio that showcases your work in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors.
- A solid grasp of SEO principles and experience using tools to track performance and improve search rankings.
- Exceptional time management skills that allow you to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily deadlines.
- Proficiency in English and the ability to work effectively within a content management system.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high editorial standards through thorough proofreading and editing.
What you'll get
This is a remote, contract-to-hire position that begins with a three-month contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent, full-time role based on your performance. As part of our team, you will enjoy the following:
- The flexibility of remote work.
- The opportunity to make a tangible impact on community health and wellness.
- A collaborative environment where your contributions directly support our mission of making healthcare more affordable.
