About the Role
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will serve as a hands-on technical leader responsible for designing and implementing the systems that allow our customers to run sophisticated AI workloads. You will act as a key architect for our platform, driving projects across various teams and mentoring fellow engineers to ensure we maintain a high standard of technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build core systems that enable our customers to execute advanced AI workloads at scale.
- Lead cross-functional engineering initiatives that integrate infrastructure, platform, and hardware layers.
- Own complex technical projects from the initial architectural phase through to production operations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 7 years of experience building and operating production-grade systems.
- Strong programming proficiency in languages such as Rust, Go, or Python.
- Proven track record of designing and taking ownership of large-scale systems or features.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS is highly valued.
- Expertise in performance optimization, resource scheduling, or multi-tenant infrastructure.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate effectively across product and engineering teams.
Location
This is an on-site position based at our headquarters in either San Francisco, CA or Redmond, WA.
