The role

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a lead-level position intended for an experienced engineer who is ready to shape the interface through which people interact with machine learning technology. You will report directly to our Head of Engineering and play a pivotal role in developing our SaaS web application, as well as contributing to various growth initiatives. Please note that while we are a remote company, all team members must be available to work between 9am and 5pm in any timezone from Pacific to Eastern.

Core responsibilities

• Own the development lifecycle by writing clean, testable, and efficient code while maintaining high standards for accountability and speed.
• Establish and maintain robust architectures and patterns for our front-end and back-end systems to support our multi-tenant and single-tenant instances across cloud platforms.
• Develop and enforce internal processes, security policies, and documentation to ensure the long-term sustainability and privacy of our applications.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a deep technical background and a passion for building scalable products. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 10 years of comprehensive experience in both front-end and back-end software engineering.
• Prior experience serving in a Staff or Principal Engineer capacity.
• Strong proficiency in ReactJS, NextJS, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
• A proven track record of working within rapidly scaling SaaS startups and managing the full product development lifecycle.
• Experience with machine learning products, marketing tools, or creator tools is considered a significant advantage.
