Staff Software Engineer at Teleskope

Teleskope is currently looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. We are a company focused on transforming data security for the era of artificial intelligence. Our platform provides unique visibility and automated remediation, allowing organizations to scan, classify, and manage their data securely. Following our recent 25 million dollar Series A funding round, we are in a period of rapid growth and are looking for talented individuals to help us scale our impact. This is a hybrid position based in the United States, specifically requiring our team members to work from our office in the Financial District of New York City on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive, user-facing features that serve as the foundation of the Teleskope platform.
• Collaborate directly with our leadership and product design teams to turn business concepts and visual designs into high-quality, functional code.
• Take ownership of troubleshooting and debugging intricate systems as we continue to scale our technology.

Requirements

• You have at least 10 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• You possess a strong ability to mentor junior team members and help shape a positive engineering culture.
• You are proficient in back-end development, with a preference for experience in Golang.
• You have solid front-end development skills using TypeScript and React.
• You are deeply familiar with SQL, relational databases, and effective schema design.
• You have a proven track record of scaling both codebases and cloud infrastructure.
