Staff Software Engineer at Adaptive

What is this role?

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in our Union Square office. This is a lead-level position where you will report directly to our VP of Engineering. You will be an essential part of our 15-person engineering and product group, helping to shape the future of our vertical AI products.

What will you do?

• Take ownership of product execution and delivery by working in close partnership with our design and product teams.
• Lead the architectural design and development of our software to ensure that our systems remain secure, efficient, and scalable.
• Mentor and guide our engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence while writing high-quality, robust code yourself.

What makes you a great fit?

You should have at least 8 years of experience in software engineering, ideally with a background in fintech or SaaS environments. We are looking for someone who excels at complex problem-solving and has a proven ability to design architectures for high-performance systems. You should be comfortable leading technical discussions, mentoring team members, and communicating effectively in English.
