The role
We are seeking a Staff Product Designer to join our Investing team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position reporting directly to the Senior Design Director for the Investing area. You will work remotely from anywhere within the United States, collaborating with a tight-knit group dedicated to high-quality craft and meaningful financial innovation.
Core responsibilities
- Guide complex projects through the entire product development lifecycle, from initial conceptual exploration to final delivery and iterative improvement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in engineering, product management, research, data science, legal, and compliance to define opportunities and shape product roadmaps.
- Uphold our high standards for design quality by working with fellow designers to refine our visual and interaction craft.
Skills and experience
- At least 8 years of product design experience within a consumer software environment.
- A robust portfolio showcasing high-quality visual and interaction design that demonstrates your ability to solve complex problems.
- Proven ability to manage the full design process, ranging from high-level user flows to detailed, pixel-perfect interactions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a track record of articulating the business impact of your design work.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
- A deep curiosity about fintech and a proactive, self-starting approach to your work.
Compensation and benefits
The estimated annual salary for this role is $210,000, plus equity and a discretionary bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
