About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that serves as a cornerstone of our AI-first strategy. You will be responsible for leading the technical direction of our platform, with a specific focus on integrating Large Language Models into our core product experiences to improve patient outcomes. You will work closely with our Engineering, Product, and Clinical teams to design, evaluate, and operationalize cutting-edge AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and design of AI-powered features, ensuring that all systems remain scalable, secure, and clinically sound.
• Evaluate and integrate various LLM platforms, managing everything from model selection and prompt frameworks to performance benchmarking and safety guardrails.
• Develop robust backend services using Python and Django, while also contributing to full-stack product features using React, TypeScript, and NodeJS.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in software engineering and a passion for AI innovation. Our ideal candidate brings the following qualifications:

• Over 8 years of professional experience in building and scaling customer-facing software, with deep expertise in backend development.
• Proven track record of deploying LLMs or foundation models within a production environment, including a solid grasp of latency, token limits, and fine-tuning.
• Extensive experience with system design, API development, relational databases like Postgres, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
• Proficiency with modern frontend technologies, specifically React, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders and a commitment to mentoring other engineers.

Location

This is a hybrid role. You will be based in the United States and will be expected to work from our New York City office 4 days per week.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $250,000 to $275,000 per year, depending on your specific experience and qualifications, in addition to equity. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and professional growth:
