The opportunity

We are searching for a Staff Full Stack Engineer to join our remote team and lead the charge in building our platform. This is a high-impact role where you will work directly with our CTO to shape the architecture and strategic direction of our technology. You will be responsible for building the digital infrastructure that empowers everyday people to challenge the status quo, ensuring our platform is as robust and effective as the movement it supports.

A day in the life

• You will design and build accessible, intuitive web tools that allow candidates to manage their campaigns and connect with voters across all devices.
• You will integrate advanced AI and LLM capabilities into our platform to provide candidates with cutting-edge support and automation.
• You will collaborate closely with our product and design teams to maintain a pixel-perfect design system and ensure a seamless user experience.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with over 10 years of experience who thrives in fast-paced, 0-to-1 environments. You have a deep technical toolkit and a passion for civic tech. Your background includes:

• Expertise in JavaScript, with significant experience building applications using React.js.
• Strong proficiency in CSS and SCSS, with a focus on creating responsive and accurate designs.
• A solid understanding of API best practices and component-based architecture.
• Hands-on experience or a strong interest in leveraging AI, LLMs, and automation to solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative, agile team.
• Fluency in English and current residency within the United States.
