Sr. Manager, Trade Marketing at MERIT

The role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Trade Marketing to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a senior-level position where you will play a vital role in shaping our retail presence. You will report to the Senior Director of Retail Merchandising and collaborate across our Creative, Field Sales, and Education departments to ensure our minimalist philosophy translates perfectly into an omni-channel retail experience.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive retail marketing strategy that balances our global brand vision with the specific needs of our retail partners.
• Serve as the lead marketing liaison for Sephora, driving strategy and execution to ensure our brand remains a standout presence.
• Analyze performance data to optimize our marketing programs, assess the success of new product launches, and maximize our overall return on investment.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in trade marketing, with specific prior experience in the beauty industry or working with Sephora.
• A proven track record of designing and implementing retailer-specific strategies that lead to significant revenue growth.
• Strong analytical abilities, including experience managing trade marketing budgets and using data to inform business decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for internal teams and external partners.
• A highly collaborative mindset and the ability to manage multiple complex projects with great attention to detail.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $115,000 to $125,000. In addition to your base salary, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
