The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a core builder for Hello Rasa. This is our interactive developer playground that allows engineers to prototype AI agents powered by CALM in minutes, all within the browser. You will not be maintaining legacy code here. Instead, you will be a primary architect for a product that serves as the entry point for developers into our ecosystem. You will work closely with product managers and designers to own features from conception to delivery, using a stack that includes Python, Node, and React.

A day in the life

• You will lead the architectural design and technical direction for major features within our developer playground to ensure we are building robust, production-grade systems.
• You will collaborate directly with product managers and designers to identify user needs and translate those into clear, actionable development milestones.
• You will set the standard for engineering excellence by conducting rigorous code reviews, writing sharp documentation, and balancing the need for speed with long-term system health.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least 5 years of professional Python experience and a passion for building developer tools. You thrive in environments where you can take full ownership of technical decisions and mentor those around you. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and have a strong product instinct that keeps the user experience at the center of your work. You are an excellent communicator who can bridge the gap between complex technical challenges and business goals. This role is based in Serbia, and you must be a resident of the country to join our team.
