About the Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join us for a 10-week internship. In this position you will develop innovative solutions that harness artificial intelligence to address real-world challenges while working alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects in web and backend development.
Key Responsibilities
- Familiarize yourself with our technologies, tools, and development processes with mentorship support while contributing to ongoing AI-powered tool projects.
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks, demonstrate proficiency in relevant programming languages, and identify areas for improvement in AI tools.
- Present your project in the engineering all-hands meeting, sharing insights, achievements, and lessons learned with the broader team.
Requirements
- Anticipated graduation date of December 2024 or June 2025.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, Java, or Scala.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.
- Passion and excitement for artificial intelligence, demonstrated through a genuine interest in the field.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback for continuous improvement.
Location
This role has the option to be remote within the United States or based in our Irvine, CA office.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $20.00/hour.
