Software Engineer Full Stack at Normal Computing AI

At Normal, we are dedicated to redefining the foundations of AI to improve reasoning and reliability in real-world environments. Our mission focuses on connecting artificial intelligence with critical industrial and advanced manufacturing sectors across the globe. We are currently looking for a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role, you will help design and build high-performance products specifically for the semiconductor industry, gaining firsthand experience in launching transformative AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop performant web applications that simplify complex workflows, including the creation of visualization tools, diagnostic assistants, and test version control systems.
• Work closely with our product team and end users to turn intricate technical requirements into functional proof-of-concept features.
• Collaborate with researchers, hardware experts, and product managers to define engineering roadmaps and propose innovative new features.

Requirements

• You have 4 to 7 years of experience building and shipping full stack products, ideally including time spent as a startup founder or a zero-to-one engineering lead.
• You possess expert-level skills in TypeScript and React, with a proven ability to write clean, scalable code.
• You have experience developing backend services using Python or similar object-oriented languages and are comfortable contributing across the entire stack.
• You are a resourceful and reliable professional who values outcomes and adapts easily to shifting priorities.
• You have a genuine passion for user experience and understand how your technical decisions affect the people using your tools.
• Bonus points are awarded for experience in the semiconductor or hardware industries, working with LLMs, or utilizing AI-powered programming tools.
