At Baseten, we provide the infrastructure that powers inference for some of the most innovative AI companies in the world, including OpenEvidence, Clay, and Sourcegraph. By combining flexible infrastructure with seamless developer tools, we help organizations bring cutting-edge machine learning models into production. Following our recent 150 million dollar Series D funding round, we are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Core Product team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. You will play a vital role in building the tools, APIs, and web interfaces that allow our users to deploy models with ease.

Responsibilities

Develop and launch new product features that enhance our core platform.
Design intuitive APIs and abstractions that solve complex problems for our customers.
Maintain high system reliability by addressing bugs and resolving user issues with speed and precision.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
One to three years of professional experience in software engineering or infrastructure.
Proficiency in at least one major programming language, with specific experience in Python, Go, or JavaScript being highly beneficial.
Practical knowledge of web applications and database systems.
A strong interest in AI and machine learning infrastructure, paired with a desire to learn and grow within the field.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working across engineering and product teams.
