About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer, Applied AI to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a mid-level position where you will take ownership of building and refining the AI capabilities that power our investment platform. You will be responsible for turning complex business challenges into pragmatic, scalable engineering solutions while working alongside a collaborative team of builders who value modularity and service ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance our investment due diligence and decision-making workflows.
• Partner with financial analysts and data specialists to transform complex research into robust, functional AI applications.
• Integrate advanced AI technologies, including RAG and prompt engineering, into our existing infrastructure to ensure high performance and reliability.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in software engineering and a passion for applied artificial intelligence. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A four-year technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least two years of software development experience with a specific focus on generative AI, including fine-tuning and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Proficiency in core programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms like AWS and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• A solid grasp of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.

Location

This position is based in the United States and requires an on-site presence.

Compensation and Benefits
