The role
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Strategist & Community Manager to lead our digital presence. This is a full-time, executive-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere within the United States. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how we connect with our global community, ensuring our mission reaches as many students and educators as possible.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that defines our voice, objectives, and audience engagement tactics across all platforms.
- Manage our cross-channel content calendars by collaborating with designers and copywriters to produce high-quality, impactful multimedia content.
- Foster a positive and growing online community by initiating meaningful conversations, monitoring performance analytics, and building relationships with influencers and partner organizations.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of digital marketing and community building. We require the following qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience leading large-scale online communities.
- A proven history of managing cross-channel content calendars and translating analytics into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present strategies clearly and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in using professional social media management and analytics tools.
- You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident located in the United States, able to pass a background check, and willing to travel at least twice per year for team events.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this position is $91,000 to $102,000. We are committed to a fair and equitable approach to compensation. Our benefits package for full-time employees includes:
