The Role
We're hiring a Marketing Manager (Social & Influencer - Russian) to own our brand presence and customer acquisition within Dubai's Russian-speaking community.
This isn't a "translate English posts to Russian" role. We need someone who understands the Russian expat experience in Dubai—what matters to them, how they discover services, who they trust, and how luxury brands should speak to them without sounding forced or fake.
You'll build our social presence from the ground up for this market, develop relationships with the right influencers (not just the ones with the biggest followings), create content that actually resonates, and turn Russian expats into loyal customers across all three brands.
You'll report to our Marketing Director and Creative Director, work closely with our creative team, and have the freedom to test, learn, and build a playbook for what works in this market.
What You'll Own
● Social media across Instagram, TikTok, Telegram—creating content that feels native, not translated
● Influencer partnerships—finding, vetting, negotiating with Russian-speaking influencers and content creators in Dubai
● Community building—becoming the connector between Washmen and the Russian expat community through events, partnerships, and authentic engagement
● Culturally relevant campaigns—developing campaigns that speak to Russian holidays, cultural moments, and community values
● Content collaboration—briefing our creative team on what works for Russian audiences while maintaining our luxury brand positioning (especially for The Finery)
● Customer acquisition—driving measurable new Russian-speaking customers through organic social and influencer channels

You're a Great Fit If:
✅ You're a native Russian speaker with fluent English
✅ You have 3-5 years in social media, influencer marketing, or community management
✅ You live in Dubai and deeply understand the Russian expat community here
✅ You have a proven track record managing influencer campaigns with measurable results (not just "awareness")
✅ You're culturally fluent—you know the difference between adapting content and just translating it
✅ You understand luxury brand positioning and can maintain brand standards while making them feel authentic
✅ You're a relationship builder—influencers and community leaders want to work with you
✅ You're creative and resourceful—you can get exceptional value through smart barter deals, long-term partnerships, and authentic storytelling
✅ You're organized and proactive—you can manage multiple influencer partnerships, content calendars, and campaigns without dropping balls
You're NOT a Fit If:
❌ You're not a native Russian speaker or don't understand Russian expat culture in Dubai
❌ You've only done corporate/B2B social media (this is consumer-facing and community-driven)
❌ You think influencer marketing is just "pay someone to post once"
❌ You can't show specific examples of campaigns you've run with actual results
❌ You need a large team or resources to execute—this is an IC role working collaboratively
❌ You're uncomfortable with luxury brand positioning or don't understand the nuances between aspirational (The Finery) and approachable (Washmen)

How you'd approach Washmen: If you were launching our brand to the Russian community, what would your first 30 days look like? Which influencers would you target and why?
Your content instinct: Show us 2-3 examples of social content (from any brand) that you think works brilliantly for Russian audiences in Dubai. Explain why.
